DISPUTE BOARDS(DB)

Dispute Boards consist of appointing an independent committee to help the parties avoid or overcome any disagreements or disputes that arise during the implementation of a contract. It may be formed on an ‘ad hoc’ basis when a dispute arises with the sole role of dealing with that dispute, or at the outset of a project as a standing’ dispute board that operates throughout the lifetime of the contract.

We provide three methods of Dispute Boards:

• 
  Dispute Review Board (DRB): Dealing with conflicts as they arise and providing informal guidance and non-binding recommendations.
• 
  Dispute Adjudication Board (DAB): Dealing with current conflicts that need prompt resolution and issuing binding decisions.
• 
  Combined Dispute Board (CDB): Dealing with an intermediate solution between DRB and DAB and issuing both recommendations and decisions.
